The Jordan Concrete Association was established on Thursday, January 14, 1981. The signatories and their affiliates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan established an association named “The Jordan Concrete Association.” Its headquarters shall be in Amman, and its scope of work shall be in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It may establish offices or branches in other cities of the Kingdom. Its address shall be Amman – Jordan Engineers Association.
The association pursues its activities with the following objectives:
1. Striving to improve and develop concrete in the Kingdom in terms of design and implementation.
2. Contributing to controlling the quality and specifications of materials used in concrete.
3. Contributing to the collection of technical and economic information, theories, and statistics related to concrete and structural safety.
4. Contributing to conducting research and experiments on all matters related to concrete.
5. Monitoring scientific progress and developments in methods related to concrete design and construction, and exchanging technical information related to concrete within and outside the Kingdom.
6. Participating, joining, and cooperating with international concrete associations, exchanging information related to the association’s objectives, sending delegations, and receiving visitors, all within the association’s objectives.
7. Holding meetings, organizing seminars, and printing, issuing, publishing, and distributing books, reports, and information within the association’s objectives.
